Abstract

Students in Indonesia have great potential in increasing the number of entrepreneurs in the country. Entrepreneurship education implemented by universities is considered as one of the factors that can encourage the growth of entrepreneurs. In Indonesia, various entrepreneurship programs such as the Student Creativity Program (PKM), Student Entrepreneurship Program (PMW), and Wirausaha Merdeka have been organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education through universities with the aim of creating new entrepreneurs among students. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of working capital, working hours, type of product, and funding sourceson entrepreneurial revenue of student enterprises of jenderal soedirman university This study uses descriptive quantitative research methods using simple random sampling techniques. The population in this study were active students of Jenderal Soedirman University who owned a food and clothing business and the sample used was 100 respondents. This study uses primary data in the form of a questionnaire via google form. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis which is processed and tested using Eviews 12. The results of this study indicate that overall the variables of working capital, working hours, type of product, and source of funding have a significant effect on the entrepreneurial revenue of students of Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. While partially, the variables of working capital and working hours have a significant positive effect on the entrepreneurial revenue of students of Jenderal Soedirman University, while the product type variable has the result that the average revenue of the clothing business is greater than the average revenue of the food business and the funding source variable has no effect or there is no difference in revenue to the entrepreneurial students of Jenderal Soedirman University. This study implies that (1) Students can set aside part of their personal revenue or fund their business through personal savings, students can also consider selling shares or parts of their business to investors or strategic partners, (2) students need to take advantage of technology and also add employees to increase efficiency, (3) For students who will start entrepreneurship, it is recommended in the clothing business because the amount of revenue is higher than the food business, and (4) students are advised to submit business proposals to several entrepreneurship programs organized by the Faculty and university.
