Abstract
This final report is based on the results of Job Training at the Monumen Yogya Kembali from August 19, 2024, to December 20, 2024, with the title "Creating Bilingual Promotional Videos of Monumen Yogya Kembali". The main purpose of this Job Training Report is to promote Monumen Yogya Kembali for Local and International Visitors with themes "Collection Video" and "Guide Video" had the Indonesian language as Voiceover and English as a Subtitle in Monumen Yogya Kembali social media of Instagram. During the final report, third methods were used; Observation, Interview, and Documentation. Observation method was conducted before and during the Job Training to find several collections of museum objects that were used in the video. Meanwhile, the interview and documentation steps were conducted during the internship. In creating promotional videos, several steps were used; Pre production, Production, and Post Production. Production step focused in Determining Idea, Scriptwriting and Storyboard, Target Audience Analysis, Schedule & Talent, and Production Equipment. Next, is the production step. This step focused on taking video clips for two weeks with two different models. Last, Post Production focused on the editing process of the videos, they are selecting footage, voiceover, subtitling, and color grading. These videos were made around two minutes with Indonesian language as Voiceover and English as subtitles. During the process of creating a promotional video, there are several obstacles. The main obstacles are similar themed videos with fellow internships. To overcome the obstacle of having similar themed, the writer decided to choose different theme by field observation and brainstorming with the museum’s staff to avoid redudancy. Despite the encountered obstacles, these obstacles were overcome successfully.
