Abstract
The purpose of this research is to confirm and integrate the Spector et.al (2002) and Karasek’s (1969) founding on the influence of job control and work locus of control on the rate of the employees’ well-being. Mainstream literatures are only talking about the influence of either job control or work locus of control as independent variable to the well-being at work. This research uses work locus of control as moderating variable of the job control relationship and influence towards well-being at work. The sample of this research are 54 persons of PT. Mitra Lestari Abadi’s producing department employees. Permanent employees are the criteria of this research’s purposive sampling method. Data were calculated and analysed using IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25. The result of this research are shows that (1) Job control has positive and significance influence towards well-being at work. (2) Work locus of control moderate the effect of job control and well-being at work.
