Abstract

This Research is qualitative research in Garuda Indonesia discussing around Corporate Governance from 2015 to 2021. This thesis had a title “An Analysis Of Garuda Indonesia's Failure Of Implementation Good Corporate Governance: A Case Study Approach” This Research is based on the poor implementation of Garuda Corporate Governance and with it cases that cause it’s poor score in every year from 2015 to 2021 and explaining which cases that cause it and compare it what expert says about the similar cases. This research had Purpose to know and to identify the compliance of Garuda Indonesia's implementation of GCG and to identify the weaknesses and strengths of Garuda Indonesia's implementation of GCG. This research using Descriptive analysis as analyzing method and collecting data from secondary data that come from News article, Previous Research, Law, and also the data that provided by Garuda Indonesia in its websites This Research focusing in using of Descriptive Analysis with case study that happen in 2015 to 2021 and it result is that Garuda Indonesia Has implemented poorly to implement their Obligation as one of Indonesia’s SMES to deliver Good Corporate Governance. Implication from Conclusion is The situation involving Garuda Indonesia serves as a reminder that even when a solid corporate governance mechanism is in place, its implementation is not always guaranteed. It has been discovered that the company's executives, including the board, commissioners, and members of the audit committee, as well as executives at the public accounting firm, have disregarded the regulations and standards of corporate governance and business ethics. A corporation run by people who lack integrity frequently employs a polished system as a front for dishonest business activities.
