Abstract

The report is entitled "Creating QR Code Bilingual Guide Map of Owabong Waterpark Purbalingga" and is based on job training activities at “Owabong Waterpark”. The main purpose of the job training is to create digital guide map of Owabong Waetrpark using QR Code for the access. The guide map consists of two languages: Indonesian and English languages. There are three methods to obtain the data: observation, interview, and documentation. Observation was done by observing every attraction and facility, such as pools, non-water-based attractions, shops and other facilities. Then the interview was done by asking questions to the marketing manager of Owabong Waterpark, and the documentation was done by taking the photos of the attractions and facilities that are available in Owabong Waterpark. The result of this job training is to produce a digital bilingual guide map and uses the QR Code for the access, containing the name of each attraction and facility, the description of each attraction, and the map of Owabong Waterpark. The guide map points every attraction and facility, including the entry price to access some attraction, operational hours, and brief description about the attractions there. During this job training, there are two obstacles, including the author's lack of understanding of design and creating the map. Additionally, there were obstacles in documentation for some attraction at Owabong Waterpark. To overcome these obstacles, a user-friendly design application, namely Photoshop, and online resources for design inspiration were used. For the other obstacles, helps from fellow intern were needed.
