Abstract
Development in the industrial sector is intended to increase national income and the welfare of the population. Banyumas Regency has a total of 13 regional leading industries, one of which is the textile industry. The government of Kabupaten Banyumas pays attention to the textile industry, especially to the development of the weaving industry in Somagede, Banyumas and Jatilawang sub-districts, but the sustainability of weaving development is hampered in Jatilawang sub-district. This research uses mixed method sequential research.The data sources used were primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted in Pekuncen Village, Jatilawang District. The data collection techniques were interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study show that the top priority aspects are human resources, the second priority is marketing, the third priority is products and the fourth priority is institutions. The priority problem in the development of the weaving industry in Pekuncen Village in the aspect of human resources is the lack of motivation and loyalty of human resources to the weaving industry. The priority problem in the institutional aspect is the inability to create the right organisation to develop the weaving industry. The priority problem in the marketing aspect is the absence of cooperation between business actors and business partners. The priority problem in the product aspect is that there is no innovation of weaving products in Pekuncen Village. Priority solutions in the development of the weaving industry in Pekuncen Village in terms of human resources are bringing in experts and organising certified training. The priority solution for institutional aspects is to form an institution in Pekuncen Village that has the function of housing weavers. Priority solutions in the marketing aspect are to make a cooperation agreement between business actors and business partners. The priority solution for the product aspect is to develop the product in terms of colours and motifs. The strategy that becomes the main priority in developing the weaving industry in Pekuncen Village is the development of human resource capacity and capability. Second, optimising marketing through various media. Third, developing weaving products in Pekuncen Village. Fourth, Developing a master plan for the development of the weaving industry. The results of this study provide implications for the strategy of developing the capacity & capability of human resources with implications for business actors, namely always learning to improve capacity and capability, implications for the government, namely bringing in experts for business actors, implications for academics, namely incorporating weaving into scientific concepts. Then, Developing a master plan for the development of the weaving industry with implications for business actors, namely compiling important things related to the development of the weaving industry, implications for the government, namely making a roadmap for the development of the weaving industry, implications for academics, namely contributing ideas to the master plan for the development of the weaving industry. Furthermore, Optimising marketing through various media with implications for business actors, namely creating and developing marketing media for products, implications for the government, namely providing tool assistance for business actors, implications for academics, namely providing learning materials about marketing in various media. Then, Pekuncen Village weaving product development with implications for business actors, namely developing products in the form of colours and motifs, implications for the government, namely providing tool assistance for business actors, implications for academics, namely providing research contributions in the form of the latest product development.
