Abstract

Background: Extracurricular programs are additional programs from schools outside of learning hours that aim to channel students' interests and talents. In order to determine the success of an extracurricular program, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation. This study aims to determine how the implementation of extracurricular sports programs at Senior High Schools in Eastern Cilacap Regency. Methodology: This research is a quantitative descriptive research with an evaluative approach. The evaluation model used in this research is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model. Data collection used a questionnaire, while the sampling technique used proportional-random sampling. The samples in this study were students who participated in extracurricular sports activities and coaches at SMA N 1 Sampang, SMK N 1 Binangun, and MAN 3 Cilacap. Results: The results of data analysis show that the Context aspect gets an average of 90% (very good), the Input aspect gets an average of 84% (good), the Process aspect gets an average of 87% (good), and the Product aspect gets an average of 87% (good). Conclusion: The extracurricular sports program at senior high schools in the eastern part of Cilacap district is in the good category with an average percentage of 87%.
