The research title is “The Implementation of Fishbone Diagram Media in Teaching Analytical Exposition Text” (A Qualitative Study of the 11th Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Lumbung in Academic Year 2020/2021).This study aims to describe how fishbone diagram is used in teaching analytical exposition texts, as well as the difficulties that teachers experience and the solutions they come up with. This study used a descriptive analysis of a qualitative design. The researcher gained data from observation checklist, field notes, interview, and documentation. The researcher analyzed the data using the triangulation method. The use of fishbone diagrams to teach analytical exposition texts to 11th grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Lumbung in the academic year 2021–2022 was a complete success. This media is helpful and encouraging for the teacher in teaching analytical exposition text. Fishbone diagram helped the teacher in delivering material of analytical exposition text. Also, helped students in organizing and developing ideas in stage of per-writing. However, the teacher found a problem while implementing fishbone diagram media: the teacher has limited time while teaching analytical exposition text using fishbone diagram and the time allocation was only two hours. To overcome the problem, the teacher found the solution and used a demonstration strategy to make time efficient. Keywords: Analytical exposition text, Fishbone diagram media, Teaching.
