Abstract
One-Page lesson plan is quite under the spotlight since Merdeka Belajar movement based on freedom for teaching preparation, and is to supersede previous lesson plan for the sake of decreasing teachers' workload. However, the researcher wanted to know the English teachers' implementation of, challenges, and perceptions about that by using narrative inquiry research design to arrange the data per theme. The data of this research were obtained from the English teachers' in-depth interview, observation, and documentation results. The result of this research shows that when implementing the One-Page lesson plans, the English teacher did that by using Constructivist Approach, Behaviorist Approach, and “memorized” lesson plan. There were two challenges which revolve around the One-Page lesson plans namely writing learning procedure, and examination. The English teachers‟ perceive the One-Page Lesson Plans to be effective, efficient, and teacher-centered. Based on the result of the research, the researcher suggests that the English teachers may use these to improve their knowledge on the education aspect especially in Lesson Plan area so that they will be able to know more about important things in the planning process. The teachers will be supposed to prepare themselves for regulation adjustment or changes in the future just like the one they have experienced, namely the change from previous lesson plan to one-page lesson plan.
