Abstract
This job training report is written based on the job training activities that were carried out from August 26 to November 26, 2024, at RRI Purwokerto. The purposes of this report, are: first, to explain the implementation of the job training at RRI Purwokerto; secondly, to explain the process of content videos about English learning on the RRI Digital Platform; and the lastly, to describe obstacles and solutions in creating content videos about English learning on the RRI Digital Platform. The purpose of this content videos is to improve the viewers English language skills through structured and interactive content videos on the RRI Digital application. The application can be easily accessible for anyone to download via the App Store for iOS users and the Play Store for Android users, and it contains rebroadcast of radio broadcasts as well as several content videos related to activities at RRI Purwokerto. The content videos about English learning is intended to provide an enjoyable and effective learning experience, allowing viewers to improve their listening, reading, and writing skills in English. In compiling this job training report, three methods were used: observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation was one of the methods used to determine the content videos. An observation of the audio and content videos available on the RRI Digital platform was conducted. The result showed that there was no English content videos available. Therefore, English content videos will be provided for viewers and listeners who wish to learn English through RRI Digital. Viewers and listeners will not only hear content in Indonesian, but will also have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and understanding of the English language. With the inclusion of English content videos, the programs on RRI Digital will become more varied, preventing monotony and offering an alternative learning experience." In completing this job training report, several challenges were faced, particularly in creating content videos that required the use of correct and easily understandable grammar. Additionally, challenges also arose in presenting the results of the internship work and in managing time between video production and other tasks. To overcome these issues, previous work was thoroughly reviewed and material that was not yet well understood was studied. During the internship, new experiences such as editing audio using Adobe Audition, recording voiceovers, editing content videos, and expanding knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary were gained. These experiences were very useful in the process of creating educational content videos.
